It's day two after quitting facebook and more articles are confirming that it was high noon to leave that privacy eating monster. By the way, after requesting the deletion of my account I was notified that it will take two weeks before the actual deletion.

Very scary. I've battened down the hatches as much as I can by tightening up my privacy settings, but I'm ready to abandon ship!
